Job Description

Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

In this role, you will be responsible for automated testing to ensure high quality integration and seamless delivery of updates across multiple software products.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts with frameworks for various applications, using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, and RestSharp
  • Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects
  • Ensure automated test design adheres to architecture and quality assurance principles
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure test coverage aligned with project goals and specifications
  • Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects
  • Integrate automated tests into continuous integration / continuous development (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure early detection of issues and seamless delivery of updates
  • Resolve technical issues and anticipate risks to prevent high severity issues
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working with software development colleagues to reproduce issues, prepare detailed defect reports, and complete verification of fixes
  • Maintain documentation of test architecture, design steps, integration processes, test plans, test cases, automated scripts, and testing processes
  • Ensure effective collaboration and communication throughout the testing process to ensure alignment and regular updates on test processes and results
  • Continuously learn about new tools and technologies enhance test automation

What You Will Need To Be Successful

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Software Development Engineer in Test
  • Experience writing, debugging, optimizing, and scaling automated test scripts
  • Experience with microservices, integration, and cloud computing
  • Automation experience with both UP and API automations
  • Knowledge of software engineering development life cycle practices
  • Ability to develop test strategies and quality gating policies within CI/CT/CD pipelines
  • Experience writing, debugging, optimizing and scaling automated test scripts
  • Interest in cross-product integration testing to ensure quality across the portfolio
