You are a passionate 2D Art or UI/UX Design and looking for a challenge to bring in your experience?

To expand our team in Cologne, we are looking for a 2D-Artist (m/f/d) part-time or full-time, as soon as possible.

Nuromedia is an international software company focussed on interactive applications and conceives its own business models as a company builder. We develop digital solutions and sustainable business models for relevant markets. With our partners, we play to our strengths in research and innovation projects and for established customers.

Current key areas are applications for e-health, smart industry, IoT, digital twin, gamification, machine learning/AI and e-learning. Our international team from 15 countries is primarily made up of developers, designers, artists and entrepreneurs. Our team combines competences such as software engineering, game development, 2D/3D animation, AR, MR & VR development, UI/UX design and IoT.

Tasks

Together with our young and international team of designers and developers, you will bring our design of interactive projects to a new level. With us you have the chance to bring in your own ideas:

Your Skills / Abilities:

• You have a good understanding of UI and UX.
• You have Unity experience (UI-Canvas-System, Sprite-Handling, Asset Creation, etc.).
• You have strong knowledge of Adobe (Photoshop, etc.) and know how to use it.
• You have solid drawing and artistic fundamentals (Form, Perspective, Color, Light, etc.).
• You are able to create and adapt to different styles.
• You are able to work on your own, organized and efficiently.
• You possess good communication skills in English and German.
  
  
  

Additional Soft Skills / Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of common 3D tools (Blender, Maya, SketchUp, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of printing.
• Basic knowledge of common CMS (WordPress, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of common programming languages (C#, CSS, USS, etc.).
• Knowledge about VR
• Previous experience in the gaming industry or…
• … a bachelor’s degree in Media Design, Game Design, Product Design, etc.
  
  
  

Requirements

We are looking for someone with project experience who enjoys creating and implementing user-oriented design as well as conceptual prototypes.

• Experience in UI/UX design for different platforms.
• You are familiar with wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes.
• Excellent knowledge of common design tools such as Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, Invision etc.
• Good sense and understanding of trends.
• You have commitment, team spirit and enjoy working in agile teams.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Aspiration to constantly enhance and learn about new technologies and concepts.
