The Opportunity
As Business Operations Consultant, you will perform a number of functions aligned to reporting and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Managed Services Budget and Forecast in addition to consulting operations activities including intercompany resource management responsibilities.
In addition to Managed Services operational activities, you will also provide additional bandwidth and support to the Consulting side of the UK Business Operations team with general operational activities including resource management, forecasting, management and financial reporting. Training will be provided on relevant local (e.g. it.Forecast SAC solution) and global resourcing systems (e.g. RAMP) required to support these activities.
This opportunity will also provide the opportunity to take the lead with our intercompany resource management function, collaborating closely with resource management colleagues globally, both to help fill roles/skill sets on UK projects whilst also proactively looking to position UK resources on interco and Global projects to utilise any bench capacity and develop as a strong channel for UK revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the maintenance of data within the it.Forecast (SAP SAC) system
- Liaising closely with the Finance Team to ensure invoicing is accurate and aligns to the budget/forecast
- Supporting the month-end closing review of invoicing vs forecasting
- Providing key updates and analysis to the monthly Exec Reporting pack
- Working with SDMs, PMs and Account Execs to ensure forecast accuracy of revenue profiles
- Providing a point of contact for requests relating to forecasting
- Providing regular reporting for analysis of forecasting vs actual and tracking for changes to Sales Opportunities
- Providing reporting to support the SDMs and Account Execs with tracking, management and usage of customer prepaid balances
- Identification and implementation of improvements to introduce efficiency and accuracy
- Developing and fostering relationships with all internal stakeholders up to and including VP-level
About You
- Strong experience in a Business Operational role or supporting function
- Good understanding of business accounting principles, financial forecasting, and reporting
- A self-starter who is process orientated with a good background in data analysis and reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including providing analysis and guidance to less experienced users
- Able to bring ideas, energy and enthusiasm to a growing team and business
- Able to quickly develop relationships with all stakeholders
- Demonstrate gravitas and personal integrity, able to overcome unforeseen situations
- Able to make pragmatic, solid and reliable decisions in a timely manner in pressurised environments
- Have a thirst for learning to share and develop your own expertise
