Your missions

Role Summary

The Employee Relations Specialist will oversee processes for review and resolution of employee discipline cases. They will also collaborate with leadership and legal counsel in terms of proposing and establishing employee relations policies.

WORK SCHEDULE: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM Philippine Standard time, follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

Essential Functions

  • Lead the investigation and evaluation of employee complaints and incident reports, provide recommendations, and move to resolution
  • Act as the main resource on current labor laws, review current practices to ensure compliance, and communicate and explain significant changes to employees as needed
  • Represent DOXA in labor-related negotiations or meetings
  • Supervise documentation and filing of employee relations issues
  • Conduct research and gather data on human resource policies, compensation regulation, and other employment and labor standards, evaluate precedents, and provide recommendations
  • Establish best practices and strategies for sustaining positive employee relations

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the related field is preferred
  • 5 years and up handling end-to-end discipline process
  • Further studies on labor relations are an advantage
  • Background in a similar industry (BPO) is also an advantage
  • Experience in a multi-client environment
  • Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
  • Excellent organization, oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
