The Executive Director, Product is responsible for  overall product portfolio (Neovance), including strategy, roadmap/backlog, design, build, training, and support for a new proprietary product powering our tech-enabled services.  The new product will transform the service for better customer and patient outcomes, improved efficiency and margin and market differentiation.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Approach product creation with an entrepreneurial mindset and be passionate about creating best in class software products.
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive and cohesive strategy for this software product that support our tech-enabled services including collaborating with product leadership, technology, business operations and commercial to craft and maintain a product roadmap.
  • Lead and mentor a product team that is as passionate as you are about creating best in class software products.
  • Liaise with business stakeholders and know them well so that you and your team can constantly innovate to deliver value to customers, patients and internal efficiencies to achieve company goals.
  • Consistently visualize solutions, document research and implement change.
  • Maintain a detail-oriented mindset while innovating new solutions to existing problems and anticipate potential future opportunities and issues.
  • Build strong partnerships with leaders and users across the company to establish, prioritize and execute upon a product backlog for assigned objectives and products.
  • Line manage key roles (e.g. UX designers, product managers and product owners) in the product team that is as passionate as you are about creating best in class software products.
  • Lead scrum teams to execute sprints and releases to achieve the desired outcomes including solutions design leadership.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for stakeholders and an escalation point for production troubleshooting and support activities.
  • Drive product utilization and success by ensuring a great user experience, creating delivery/implementation plans and driving user feedback loops.. 
  • Work directly with software and QA engineers in an open, collaborative environment.
  • Produce quality work while maintaining a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Drive execution of non-standard deal pursuits that require product innovation/customization, as applicable.
  • Build strong partnerships with leaders across the company to solve our toughest challenges and create seamless, cohesive experiences

QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 7+ years of technology and/or product management leadership experience.
  • 4+ years leading engineering and other technical teams to excellent product delivery.
  • Progressive work experience in software related healthcare or high technology industries.
  • Excellent communication skills across all mediums (visual, written, verbal) that bolster your decisions with focus and brevity.
