Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic M365 Messaging and Collaboration Product Owner to maintain and support our organization’s Microsoft 365 (M365) Purview, Exchange, Email Security and Office Apps. This role is crucial in driving the optimization of these M365 collaboration tools across the organization, ensuring security, compliance, and seamless user experience.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of M365 products, particularly in the areas of information protection, email security, and AI-powered productivity tools. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, compliance, and business units.

  • Provide technical direction and configuration inputs for M365 Compliance and Exchange in our tenants, commercial and government (GCCH).
  • Develop, maintain, and demonstrate M365 domain expertise including both internal (Keysight) and external (market) trends.
  • Stay informed with changes in the AI space, investigating ways it can add value towards our end-user experiences.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on user feedback, business needs, and technical feasibility and keep product backlog up to date.
  • Work closely with IT, security, compliance, and business units to understand requirements, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Vendor management skills including holding them accountable for deliverables and pushing through roadblocks. Supervise the first level support team that performs routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, patches, and updates.
  • Provide expert-level support for Microsoft Exchange Online and related messaging technologies in our commercial and government (GCCH) tenants. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Fill the role of M365 GCCH service manager for SharePoint/OneDrive/Licenses/Email/Teams.
  • Develop and maintain architectural documentation for system configurations and procedures.
  • Provide input on the strategic planning of messaging infrastructure and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure pro-active, clear communications and coordination across business and technical teams.
  • Escalate and resolve risks and misalignment.
  • Microsoft Purview subject matter expert and run eDiscovery searches as required.
  • Provide data governance and support complex issues related to Microsoft Office Apps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting M365 in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of Email Security, Exchange Online, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Familiarity with all Microsoft 365 services and integration points.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in product ownership or management roles, with a focus on M365 collaboration tools.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Purview, Exchange, Email Security, Office Apps, and AI tools like Copilot.

Colorado pay range: MIN $84,000 - MAX $140,000

California pay range: MIN $90,000 - MAX $150,000

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
