Senior Web Developer

Position Description

We are seeking a Senior Web Developer to lead the development of our innovative Digital Banking Application tailored for credit unions. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in enhancing and scaling our digital solutions, ensuring a superior and secure online banking experience. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, including .NET Core, Azure DevOps, and Kubernetes, and play a pivotal role in all phases of software development from design to deployment.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET Core MVC/WebAPI, IdentityServer, and EntityFramework with a MSSQL backend.
• Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) deployments to ensure high availability and security.
• Utilize Umbraco CMS for content management and integration with digital banking platforms.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability using Git and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop RESTful APIs with Postman and ensure seamless integration across multiple platforms and services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software, and provide technical support for web applications.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Document development processes, code changes, and other technical information.
• Mentor junior developers and lead the development team in best practices and coding standards.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in web development, with a strong background in ASP.NET WebForms, WCF, and .NET Framework 4.8+.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, MVC/WebApi, IdentityServer, and EntityFramework.
• Expertise in MSSQL/T-SQL and database management.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and cloud-based architectures.
• Familiarity with Umbraco CMS, Git, Azure DevOps, and software lifecycle tooling.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development with Postman.
• Additional skills in PowerShell scripting and experience with .NET 6+ are considered a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
