We’re looking for a tech-savvy Remote Workspace Manager to join our People team. This is a brand new role, integral to this stage of our growth. We were recently voted the 46th fastest-growing company in the UK, and we’ve doubled in size every year for the past three years. We know that remote-first environments like ours are really challenging for collaboration, and we’re now at the stage where we need to focus on this area to protect our culture as we continue to grow. Your role will be to build and nurture an exciting community environment for both our existing team and incoming team members.

Responsibilities:

• Community building
• You will be using your creativity to find ways to bring our team together - physically, virtually and asynchronously!
• You’ll join our All Hands Committee and play a leading role in planning our company get-togethers, including our legendary socials held every year in a city in Europe.
• New joiner experience
• You’ll own and continually level-up our new joiner experience at Grantify. You’ll be in charge of the whole process, including all communication and documentation.
• Your aim will be to do this in the most efficient, useful, tech-first and friendly way possible.
• Remote office management
• This responsibility is a little vague because scale-ups are unpredictable and honestly we don’t know exactly what exciting new things will come up along the way! An example could be that we open a new remote office in another country, and you navigate what we need to do to make that happen.

The successful candidate will be UK-based and must have the right to work in the UK. We cannot offer the role to anyone living outside the UK or anyone who requires sponsorship to work in the UK.

• You naturally understand a new system when you come to use it and pick up new ones quickly. You are curious about new technologies and how they could improve effectiveness.
• Organisational whizz
• You are a master plate juggler, a spreadsheet extraordinaire, and love ticking items off your to-do list. You have a strong bias to action: you can easily break a complex task into manageable pieces, and if something will take less than two minutes, you get it done now.
• Effective Communication
• You are a natural communicator, able to communicate clearly and effectively within your team, with other departments and incoming employees.
• Improvement Mindset
• You have a natural knack for spotting inefficiencies and get a kick out of taking swift action to improve them. You always leave things better than you found them.

• You’re trusted with sensitive employee info and you handle it with the highest level of discretion.

Hiring Process

4. Final Interview with our Co-Founder/CEO, Mat (30mins)

The entire process typically takes about 3 weeks end to end, with flexibility to accommodate your schedule. Feedback and updates will be provided promptly after each stage.
