CGI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Agile Delivery Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving successful and efficient project deliveries. This role requires a unique blend of project management expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of Agile principles. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities, from facilitating key Agile ceremonies to coaching and mentoring teams to ensure their continuous improvement.
This role may require working three times a week until 9 PM Polish time
Job responsibilities
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and activities (e.g., Discovery, Story Mapping) for effective team collaboration.
• Coach and support teams to maintain productivity and quality under scope and time pressures.
• Guide Product Owners in prioritizing business value and ensuring focus on valuable outcomes.
• Support effort and complexity estimation and help with planning and refining work.
• Develop teams into high-performing, self-organizing units through data-driven coaching.
• Implement and oversee Continuous Improvement Plans.
• Ensure adherence to Agile SDLC practices and maintain documentation.
• Support solution architecture reviews and approvals.
• Coordinate with extended teams for seamless integration and collaboration.
• Manage project budgets and financials.
• Analyze team performance using Agile metrics and drive data-backed decisions.
• Maintain JIRA for tracking dependencies and delivery progress.
• Report project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Resolve and escalate impediments affecting project progress.
• Complete pre-release and release activities for successful product launches.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Proficiency in Agile tools like Clarity, JIRA, and Service Now, using them effectively to manage projects and track progress.
• An in-depth understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and the ability to interpret Solution Architecture documents.
• Strong technology aptitude, including familiarity with various systems and applications relevant to our organization.
• Experience in financials and estimation, allowing you to manage project budgets effectively.
• Familiarity with release management processes, ensuring smooth product deployments.
• Exceptional risk and issue management skills, with the ability to identify, articulate, and resolve potential challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, tailoring messages to different audiences and ensuring timely and effective communication.
• Proficient stakeholder management skills, understanding the level of involvement required from various business and technology stakeholders.
• Very good command of Polish and English
