BerryDunn is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Medicaid Practice Group (MPG) as a Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analyst, primarily supporting our client in Maine. As part of our consulting team focused on State Medicaid Agency (SMA) clients, you will leverage your organizational change management expertise, along with project management and Medicaid knowledge to help Medicaid agencies improve the health and lives of individuals. You will also be the success partner for Medicaid agencies in building healthier communities and stronger futures.

BerryDunn is seeking an individual with proven experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM), preferably in state government, health IT, and/or the Health and Human Services (HHS) industry. This individual will support project communications and the identification, development, and implementation of OCM activities in support of the Medicaid Enterprise and its supporting people and processes. Additional experience leading continuous improvement and/or Lean Six Sigma initiatives is desired.

The OCM Analyst will be responsible for the management of project communications and performing OCM activities under the direction of the OCM Lead. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated OCM and project management background with experience in State HHS IT, Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), or Enrollment and Eligibility.

This position may be based remotely or in our one of our New England offices. You will report to senior leaders in the MPG and will help clients nationally, with your initial focus being on our client in Maine.

You Will:
  • Help develop and execute an OCM strategy appropriate to the client environment
  • Support and at times lead the development of plans, surveys, and assessments related to OCM activities such as Prosci Change Triangle (PCT) Assessments, OCM Maturity Assessments, Training Needs Assessment, and Business Process Review and Gap Analysis
  • Develop and manage project and/or stakeholder communications
  • Help develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including client contacts, project team members, and vendor contacts
  • Attend internal BerryDunn team meetings
  • Attend - and at times facilitate - meetings with the client, team, and vendors to achieve project objectives
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and/or discussing project deliverables
  • Document and escalate project action items, issues, risks, and/or decisions
  • Provide frequent, clear, and consistent communication to the client, team members, vendor, and direct reports
You Have:
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (a bachelor’s degree may be replaced with an additional four (4) years of related experience).
  • A minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated OCM expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and deliver concise, informative project communications and presentations to project stakeholders using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other applications
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as an OCM Subject Matter Expert (SME) and offer OCM SME to invested parties
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and conduct OCM trainings, presentations, and facilitate OCM meetings
  • Demonstrated ability to measure change readiness, continually reinforce change, and address resistance to change
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple assignments and achieve quality results in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability to create and sustain positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and thrive in an ambiguous and changing environment

Additional Desired Qualifications:
