Description

Position at Inspire Home Loans

What You'll Do:

Inspire Home Loans is seeking a Loan Processing Validator who will process and validate (underwrite) loan files per AUS findings. The applicant must have experience in loan processing, along with excellent attention to detail and a skilled approach in customer service to help borrowers navigate the mortgage process. Previous experience in AUS loan validation is preferred. This position will be remote.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

Maintain a loan processing pipeline and complete all loan processing daily functions
Ability to process 25+ loans per month and maintain a pipeline of 45-60 loans
Send loan approvals and complete welcome calls to borrowers
Collect applicable conditions from the borrower per AUS findings
Diligently review AUS findings, credit, income and assets documentation to determine borrower’s credit worthiness and repayment ability
Calculate qualifying income for salaried borrowers.
Review property appraisal report to ensure value of property is accurately presented.
Analyze loan risk and request additional information and documentation as per guidelines and company procedures.
Reviews documents that are a variation of the actual condition required to determine if the acceptance of this condition will meet the guidelines.
Confirm loan documentation satisfies AUS findings and render an approval decision.
Subsequent review of resubmitted loan applications to analyze requested documents necessary to issue a final loan decision.
Condition the loan and update conditions while preparing for final approval and closing of loan.
Respond to loan audits and post-closing request for additional documentation in a timely manner.
Keep up to date on agency guidelines and internal policy and procedures.
Underwrite 2-3 new files a day in addition to reviewing files for conditions.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

What You Have:

- Knowledge of products and underwriting guidelines
- FHA/VA and Conventional product experience required, knowledge of bond products is a plus
- AUS loan validation preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Teamwork attitude, ability to work independently and “self-motivated”
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate judgment and decision-making ability
- Demonstrate an outstanding level of customer service skill
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with branch, realtors, sales agents, builders, title companies
- Computer Knowledge: Encompass, Microsoft Outlook & Windows, Excel, DU/LP
  
  Your Education and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years loan processing experience
- Prior experience in a Senior Loan Processor or Underwriter position analyzing conventional conforming loan applications

Compensation: Inspire Home Loans intends to offer the selected candidate an hourly pay rate in the range of $36-$40 with the potential for a monthly bonus. Actual offers will be based on a variety of factors including experience. Employees will have access to paid time off, medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance and the Company's 401k plan.
