• A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
• 5 years’ experience developing and tuning complex SQL queries in Oracle relational database.
• 6 years’ experience working in a data warehouse environment
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
• Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret raw data from various sources.
• Develop, implement, and maintain databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Filter and clean data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations.
• Provide technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

Other Information:

• The salary for this position is $60,000 - $110,000 annually
