Product Manager II (Media / Ad-Tech)

Shell Recharge Solutions is seeking a Product Manager II (Media / Ad-Tech)

 

A core tenet of the SRS North America business and mission is to expand the electrification of the transportation grid for everyone. This mission is significantly supported by a Digital Out of Home (DOOH) advertising model across our network of destination charging stations. As a Product Manager II for our Media / Ad-Tech roadmap, you will be responsible for driving forward multiple aspects of our product suite. You will engage in product discovery and delivery that increases the revenue density of our network of charging stations, continues to differentiate our network as the premier EV charging network employing a DOOH strategy, and presents new and valuable features for our media customers’ and drivers’ benefit. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Craft the SRS Media and Advertising Technology product story by understanding the intersection of the DOOH and EV charging industry landscapes, user needs, and innovation opportunities ahead. 
  • Create a detailed, measurable strategy and roadmap that charts a near- and long-term path forward for our Ad Tech portfolio.  
  • Collaborate deeply with Engineering, Media Sales, Service Operations, and other internal stakeholders on execution of strategy and tactics, delivering products to market and measuring the impact they have on SRS’ customers.
  • Prioritize the overall Ad Tech product roadmap as well as the detailed product backlog for the engineering teams delivering features. 
  • Perform discovery around viability, feasibility, and customer value / product market fit to ensure we are pursuing the most valuable customer outcomes possible. 
  • Enable other stakeholders and teams across SRS / Shell (Application Engineering, Legal, Marketing, etc.) understand, contribute to, and tell the product story. 


What We’re Looking For: 

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years product management or related role experience. 
  • 2+ years experience in a related field, such as digital advertising / marketing, computer vision, e-mobility, etc.. 
  • 4+ years experience with agile software development and lean startup practices and techniques. 
  • Practitioner-level familiarity with product discovery and user-centered design methods, such as user research and service blueprinting.
  • Deep technical acumen and proven ability to rapidly learn new technologies. 
  • Ability to organize multiple stakeholders toward a common goal. 
  • Analytical skills and experience making data-driven tradeoff / prioritization decisions. 
  • A track record of deep collaboration, leadership, and engagement with the product delivery teams producing features. 
  • Atlassian tools suite and / or other product management tooling (e.g.: Aha!, SmartSheet, Product Plan, etc.) experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with one or more of the following is strongly preferred: energy, utilities, SaaS, project development. 
  • Master’s degree helpful but not required. Liberal Arts degree with a focus on renewal energy resources preferred.
  • Passion for environmental issues and renewable energy.
