Windows System Administrator
The Opportunity:
Your combination of people skills and system administrator knowledge makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting DoD Analytics? We’re looking for a System Administrator to join our Infrastructure Service Engineering team to develop Infrastructure as a Code scripts, deploy desktop applications, manage servers, manage AppStream instances and administer cloud-based system. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills, experience with AWS GovCloud and a solid understanding of cloud administration.
This is an opportunity to gain experience in managing end points, Windows servers, desktops and AppStream on AWS GovCloud environment. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. Work with us and resolve daily challenges as we improve the creation of and updating reference architecture documentation, including, specifications and diagrams.

You Have:
2+ years of experience in desktop, system, network, and cloud administration
Experience with Amazon AWS GovCloud
Experience with Lambda functions and developing scripts using Python
Experience configuring and patching RedHat, Windows OS, and other components
Knowledge of AWS services and structures
Ability to be analytical, think critically, communicate, and work collaboratively
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
Security+ Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience configuring and administering AppStream
Experience working with government agencies in the DoD
Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases and data backups
Knowledge of log collection and aggregation tools like Splunk
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
