As part of our comprehensive Interview Course, we will be holding Live Mock MMIs and Panel Interviews to provide students with realistic, high-quality practice opportunities. We understand the importance of meticulous preparation, and our Live Mock Interviews are designed to simulate the actual MMI, providing students with the confidence and skills they need to excel.
In this role as a Live Mock MMI Facilitator, you will play a key part in ensuring that these mock interviews run smoothly. Your responsibility will be to manage the Zoom sessions, handle interview logistics, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the mock interviews. By facilitating a seamless and professional environment, you’ll allow interviewers and students to make the most of their time in the interview and maximise students’ chances of getting into medical school.

At Contour MedPrep, we are driven by our mission to support students as they prepare for one of the most important and challenging stages of their journey into medical and dental school: the interview. Whether it’s the MMI, UNSW Panel Interview, or JCU Panel Interview, this stage can often be the make-or-break point in a student’s application. We understand the complexities of interview preparation and the importance of creating a seamless, professional environment for students to practise and excel.
As a Live Mock MMI Facilitator, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of our live mock interviews. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the technical and logistical aspects of the Zoom sessions, including admitting students into the Zoom meeting, checking their cameras and microphones, completing an initial briefing and ID-check, troubleshooting any technical issues, and moving students between breakout rooms during the mock interviews.
You will be responsible for meticulously keeping time and will require a high level of attention-to-detail, as you will also broadcast timely messages to all breakout rooms at the halfway point and final minute of each station. After the interview stage, you’ll move students through the breakout rooms for their feedback stations, and will wrap up the interview by giving a final message to the students and facilitating any common feedback to the group from the interviewers. Then, you’ll complete any admin work required to log the completed interview on our system, ensuring that automated emails/texts are sent to students with their scores and written feedback.
Your role is essential in creating a professional and organised environment that allows students to focus on their interview performance. By handling the technical aspects of the session, you will help create a highly accurate and distraction-free experience for students to hone their interview skills.
This role is collaborative, allowing you to work closely with our interviewers and leadership team, ensuring that each session runs smoothly and efficiently. You will also participate in comprehensive initial training, where you will learn more about the exact systems and processes we have in place.

When you join, you'll be properly onboarded with all the training, support and personal feedback you need to thrive in the role. You'll work closely with our leadership team and Head of Interviews to upskill and refine your technical and critical thinking skills, and you’ll be thoroughly introduced to all of our software, processes and program structure.
By the end of your initial training, the role will become second-nature to you and you’ll know our programs and processes inside-out! You’ll feel confident in facilitating Zoom interviews and troubleshooting technical issues that may arise.
After the initial training, you’ll receive ongoing feedback to help accelerate your development within the role. There will also be regular check-ins to keep everyone on the same page and to help you succeed in the role.
