The Opportunity

Role Summary:

  • The Associate is responsible for various investment-related jobs in the Fixed Income Division., and reports to the CIO Fixed Income Japan, Manulife Investment Management Japan.

Job Description:

  • Support portfolio managers in Fixed Income Department and credit analysts in Credit Research Department.
  • All tasks are related to fixed Income investment and credit research of the Division.
  • Tasks include both regular (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) and ad-hoc.

Skills & Experience (Must Have):

  • Education: University degree or above
  • Experience:3+ years with financial institution
  • Japanese: native
  • Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Skills & Experience (Nice to Have):

  • Experience: 3+ years with asset management industry
  • License: CMA and /or CFA

Internal Guidelines about Work from Home:

Hybrid Model, following Manulife’s Working Better guidelines.

Over time:

0-40 hours/month.

Salary:

Based on our Work Rules, we will consider your experience, skills and knowledge when we decide the salary.

Commutation allowance and Variable Incentive Bonus are paid based on our Work Rules.

Working Hours:

Standard Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm  (Include 1 hour break. Flex-time system available)
