The successful candidate will take on the responsibility of effectively planning and managing projects and programs of work, across multiple disciplines, to deliver the highest of standard solutions for our valued customers.
Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of the project life cycle, from initiation to closure
• Ensure agreed time, cost, and quality parameters are met
• Prepare and maintain project-related documents, such as Project Management Plan, Project Status Report, Project Closure Report, Scope Change Request, Issue Register, Risk Register
• Manage project deliverables and schedules and highlight deviations / red flags
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
• Understand scheduling requirements and schedule resources using a corporate ticketing tool
• Execute Configuration Management – Maintain consistency and traceability among project deliverables
• Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
• Adhere to project management processes and other corporate policies
• Continuously improve and optimize existing processes
• Work with other IT teams, suppliers, or contractors to deploy solutions
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
• Assist with the development of best practices and tools for project execution and management
• Manage and provide overall guidance on IT project management and quality delivery for business requirements
Requirements
• Demonstrated 10+ years of experience in project and/or program management of IT infrastructure and/or networking projects
• Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiar with ITIL processes, policies, and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to mentor and/or guide other members of the PMO team
• Ability to advise on best practices for continuous improvement of project execution and management
• Ability to produce high quality documentation
• Strong attention to detail
• Process-oriented
• Familiar with Microsoft 365 Applications
• Flexible approach to working hours
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly regarded though not compulsory
• ServiceNow platform experience is highly regarded though not compulsory
