Program Coordinator, Equity
Remote within California, ~25% travel required. Must reside in California

We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join the Foundation in its mission of benefitting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. The Foundation for California Community Colleges is on a mission to double its impact in the next 10 years. What You’ll Do

The Coordinator position will be uniquely positioned among three workforce pathway programs: 1) California Medicine Scholars Program 2) California LAW Pathways 3) Health and Wellness Designated Education Program. With key objectives to diversify legal professions, physicians in primary care, and the behavioral health workforce and provide economic opportunity for underserved and underrepresented populations, the coordinator will be dynamic, adaptable, and a self-starter leading a wide range of administrative activities for program initiatives and projects.  The three programs are housed within the Department of Equity which is a collaborative environment focused on providing support services and resources that students need to succeed.

  • Processes incoming and outgoing correspondence for the organization and keeps Management updated accordingly.
  • Oversees each program’s respective email inquiry address and respond to students, faculty/staff, and other outside partners/interested parties
  • Compiles information for the timely preparation of reports and distributes to appropriate individuals
  • Compiles various reports that include contact directories, collaborative meeting minutes, monthly expense reports, etc.
  • Records, writes up, and distributes minutes and other relevant information to appropriate participants in a timely manner.
  • Assists with accounts payable by processing invoices, interacting with partners and vendors regarding invoice questions, and supports the maintenance of financial records.
  • Serves as liaison with other departments and operating units in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational processes.
  • Assists with event planning and execution including but not limited to, conferences, seminars, meetings, and social functions including vendor management, event logistics, event registration, day-of event support, and post-event follow up.

  • Strong ability to prepare, proofread, interpret, distribute, and maintain specified routine and complex documents
  • Ability to work remotely and navigate various technology platforms (Zoom, Monday.com, Asana, MS Office Suite-Teams, Outlook, Salesforce and other database programs, Google Suite, Canva etc.)

Budgeted Hourly Pay Range:

$24.00 - $26.00

Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
