Position Summary:
MAG Aerospace is recruiting for a potential Systems Engineer position to be awarded in October 2024 concerning a US Navy - Regional Multi-domain Awareness Capability (RMAC) program.
This position will mainly apply systems engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate multi-domain awareness systems in remote international locations, subjected to extreme environmental conditions for continued improvement and maximum effectiveness in real world applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties:
- Review and prepare system engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
- Apply system engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
- Analyze, design, develop, implement, test or evaluate automated data processing software related to engineering or functional requirements of multi-domain awareness systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
- May act as team leader or supervisor developing engineering procedures and controls, managing project efforts, and taking the lead in problem resolution.
- Interfaces with system or program contractors, vendors, and government representatives regarding the technical aspects of both the software and hardware components of the entire system.
- Because of extensive knowledge of the system may perform duties as a trainer.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of systems engineering experience performing the foregoing systems engineering functions listed above.
- A background in computer programming is required
Education:
- BS Degree and experience in engineering, computer science, math or physics disciplines.
