Job Description:

Job Summary:

This role supports the governance of Epiq Mass Tort's lien resolution, focusing on risk management and resolving issues to prevent potential Epiq liability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and approve deliverables for lien resolution programs, including drafting court documents and external-facing materials.
• Support project managers and client service teams to ensure project plans meet all requirements and serve as a primary contact for high-profile engagements.
• Negotiate and secure PLRP agreements for Mass Tort settlement programs and assist in creating educational materials.
• Assist Operations teams in securing agency agreements and determining lien resolution strategies for various lien types.
• Participate in business development by supporting sales pitches, creating intellectual content, and consulting with prospective clients.
• Engage in planning and analysis for lien resolution programs to ensure best practices and compliance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on all lien types and participate in speaking engagements on healthcare lien resolution topics.
• Perform regular reviews of Mass Tort Master Settlement Agreements and Release language.  Submit external client- facing feedback and edits designed to ensure terms align with healthcare lien resolution best practices and are consistent with Epiq’s scope of work as set forth in the terms of Epiq’s retention agreement with the client.
• Generate revenue through consulting engagements, where requested.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years in account management, client services, or project management, preferably with budget responsibility; healthcare lien resolution experience (Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, VA) strongly preferred.
• Leadership experience with supervisory duties (hiring, developing, disciplining staff).
• Exceptional communication skills, comfortable with all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
• Excellent computer, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle pressure.
• Juris Doctorate (JD) or 5-8 years of relevant healthcare lien resolution experience required.
