Your Impact
As Fixed Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the global fixed asset process and reporting, collaborating across capabilities to build efficient and sustainable accounting processes that facilitate strong internal financial controls and support business growth. You will be collaborating with senior finance leaders and various cross-functional team leaders on all facets of fixed assets and lease accounting. You will also be a key stakeholder in implementing process and technology transformation in addition to supporting the day-to-day operations. What You’ll Do
Location: Remotely from United States
Reports to: Senior Director, Corporate Accounting & Global Consolidations
  • Responsible for end-to-end Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting process in close collaboration with business partners
  • Analyze investments to determine proper accounting treatment in accordance with capitalization policy as well as ASC 842
  • Apply internal policies to investment requests and support continued updates to policies to support business growth and expansion
  • Prepare and record journal entries in GL systems, monthly account fluctuation analysis and reconciliations supporting our SEC footnote preparation
  • Identify, present and implement solutions for process improvements, automation opportunities and enhanced area reporting capabilities
  • Manage data integrity and preparation of financial information to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness and accessibility
  • Coordinate the preparation of audit responses and work of auditors
  • Foster communication and teamwork within and across organizational boundaries
  • Monitor and execute internal control procedures to ensure that company assets are adequately protected
  • Support budgeting process and actual to forecast variance analysis
What You Bring
  • BS or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and Lease accounting software
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Alteryx and RPA tools a plus
  • Fixed asset and lease accounting experience at publicly traded companies
  • FP&A and budgeting experience a plus

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 96,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 144,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
