Your missions

Our client is a cutting-edge AI-driven training platform dedicated to revolutionizing employee development through personalized learning experiences. They are seeking a proactive and driven Head of Growth Marketing to identify and engage potential clients, focusing on expanding their market presence within the B2C sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with experience in outbound channels and a proven track record of generating qualified leads.

Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Top-of-Funnel Growth: Drive measurable and meaningful top-of-funnel growth, as measured by new paying subscribers.

  • Build and Execute Growth Roadmap: Build a roadmap of experiments to run in existing and new channels, executing with speed and high-quality output.

  • Strategy and testing: Test new channels, managing strategy and execution from start to finish. If early tests are impactful, scale efforts with contractors or agencies.

  • Accelerate Ongoing Marketing Efforts: Accelerate work in paid marketing, SEO, affiliate, conversion rate optimization, and influencer marketing. Set clear goals and make necessary adjustments to channels.

  • Quantitative Research: Conduct quantitative research to answer specific growth questions. Draft project requirements, collect data, run calculations, and share findings.

  • Agency and Contractor Management: Work with agencies and contractors as needed, handling recruiting, management, negotiation, and communication.

  • Reporting and Coordination: Report learnings internally to the founders and team regularly. Coordinate with product and engineering teams to implement growth-oriented product changes.

Example Projects:

  • Influencer Marketing Test: Run experiments sponsoring influencers on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Determine ROI using various forms of attribution.

  • Video for Paid Marketing: Source, produce, and test video creative for paid ads on Meta and YouTube. Work with vendors to incorporate learnings.

  • SEO Opportunities: Support ongoing SEO efforts by identifying opportunities to ramp up traffic and new customers.

  • Ideal Customer Profile Analysis: Analyze existing user data to identify ideal customers and determine what differentiates them from others. Recruit and work with contractors if needed.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Accelerated User Growth: You have significantly increased the number of paying subscribers through innovative and effective top-of-funnel growth strategies.

  • Effective Campaign Execution: You have successfully implemented and optimized campaigns across various channels, demonstrating a high ROI and contributing to the overall growth.

  • Strong Cross-Functional Collaboration: You have effectively collaborated with product and engineering teams to implement growth-oriented changes, resulting in a seamless user experience and increased engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a growth leader for a B2C consumer product. Former experience as a founder is a plus.

  • World-class understanding of at least 1-2 quantitative channels (e.g., paid, SEO).

  • Significant experience in 3-4 other channels (e.g., viral, PLG, content).

  • Expert understanding of consumer lifecycle analytics and metrics (e.g., retention, activation, MRR).

  • Advanced technical and quantitative skills, including data pipeline creation and maintenance, and running queries.

  • Excellent written communication skills for async work.

  • Ability to be scrappy and propose impactful projects across various situations.

  • Understanding of the AI and training technology sector is nice to have.
