Veeam is experiencing such rapid growth in the volume and frequency of launching new offerings to the market, we need a leader who can help us scale and operationalize our company-wide Launch and NPI (New Product Introduction) efforts.  

We are looking for someone who can drive excellence in execution through cross-functional planning and alignment. This person also has a proven track record demonstrating the following capabilities: 

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement cross-functional plans that drive excellence and meet organizational goals. 
  • Problem Solving: Anticipate potential issues and proactively develop solutions. 
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior executives. 
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. 
  • Drive Accountability: Ensure teams are held accountable for their responsibilities and performance. 
Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the product launch strategy, aligning it with company goals and market needs. 
  • Lead and manage multiple NPI programs, ensuring on-time delivery and quality targets are met. 
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management. 
  • Drive the launch process from concept through production, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact the success of the product launch. 
  • Monitor and report on the progress of NPI programs to senior leadership, providing regular updates on status, risks, and mitigation strategies. 
  • Gather and analyze feedback from initial product launches to inform and improve future launches. 
  • Track launch KPIs and drive to continuous improvement 
  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of product launch managers and coordinators. 
  • Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement within the product launch team. 
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams involved in launch activities. 
  • Partner with engineering, marketing, partner organization, and sales teams to ensure all NPI activities are coordinated and executed effectively. 
  • Facilitate communication and decision-making across departments to resolve issues and keep projects on track. 
  • Continuously evaluate and improve NPI launch processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Implement best practices in program management, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of industry standards. 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required. PMP, MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in program management, with a focus on new product introduction in a technology or manufacturing environment. 
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale NPI programs from concept to commercialization. 
  • Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional organization. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Strategic thinking and planning. 
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of financial management in a product development context. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
