We’re Looking For A: Paid Search Marketing Specialist will own the split testing and optimization of our Paid Search landing pages across all front-end offers, deepening the company’s understanding of the front end customer’s journey by strengthening the link between our front end funnels and our paid search landing pages. The specialist will boost paid search ROI, define the correlation between front end performance and search behavior, and improve performance of front end network.

Location: Remote, office located in Woodland Hills CA

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Optimize keywords and bid strategies within Google Adwords for multiple products across several verticals
  • Conduct rigorous A/B testing of ad copy and landing pages to uncover insights and maximize conversion rates for both branded and non branded search terms
  • Collaborate closely with team members to transform native advertising wins into better converting Google landing pages.
  • Develop and execute robust conversion rate optimization strategies, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze performance across all search channels with precision, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and setting benchmarks for success.
  • Optimize the customer journey. Take a holistic view of our sales funnel, optimizing SEO strategies and collaborating on customer journey initiatives to elevate overall performance metrics.
  • Serve as a content expert. Review and provide feedback on new content initiatives, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and readiness for deployment.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends. Monitor emerging trends and opportunities in search engine marketing, pioneering innovative strategies to achieve strategic goals. 
  • Act as a bridge between customer acquisition funnels and search strategy, communicating winning strategies to improve search performance across several verticals. 
  • Remain adaptable and proactive in handling unforeseen challenges, embodying the spirit of Golden Hippo's “test everything, fail fast” culture.

  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for deriving actionable insights from data
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, specializing in search engine marketing
  • Experience driving winning and losing A/B tests and funnel optimization tests
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Curiosity to try different strategies to find winning results
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences effectively.
  • Innate drive for success with a self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset.
  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, specializing in search engine marketing
  • Experience with Salesforce and Tableau is a plus.

The base salary range is $66,560-$75,000, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.

The posted salary range in this job posting reflects data based on California's cost of labor analysis. This salary range is subject to change per state; please click here to find the pay differential in your state of residence if the role is remote.
