About The Team


Our Customer Experience Worldpayers are at the heart of it all — enabling us to provide world-class support to customers. Unwavering dedication and full of enthusiasm, they’re always finding ways for us to grow together. The "System Architecture" team in the "Customer Experience" portfolio supports ecosystems, systems, and subsystems that support customers (external as well as internal). Customer Experience is key.


What You’ll Own


As an IT Architect, you’ll help design the foundation for how our global fintech platforms perform and scale. Your expertise will influence selecting, operating and administering systems and software for our environment that supports vital business processes.

  • Defining and maintaining a library of functional component models for Worldpay product lines.
  • Documenting functional product solutions as well as key Worldpay financial services opportunities.
  • Maintaining a catalogue of reusable functional application components relevant for applications and product lines.


Where you’ll own it


You’ll own it in our thriving Cincinnati, OH hub or remotely in the US. While we’re a large team of Worldpayers based in North America, we have collaborative spaces and regular opportunities to celebrate with each other in person.


What You Bring

  • Expertise with end-to-end systems development life cycles and a background leading large projects.
  • Five or more years in a distributed and heterogeneous computing environment, working with relational or hierarchical databases.
  • Experience designing and implementing applications in a shared service bureau environment.
  • Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques.
  • A bachelor’s in computer science or engineering, or the equivalent experience – post-graduate education desired.
