This position is offered through SmartSimple Software Inc., now part of the same organization as Foundant Technologies following our recent merger. While your work will focus on Foundant’s solutions and goals, you will be fully integrated within our unified team. Where You’ll Work

  • SmartSimple Software and Foundant Technologies are remote-first workplaces. We recognize the distinct advantages of workplace flexibility.
  • SmartSimple’s headquarters are located in Toronto, Canada with our EMEA office based out of Dublin, Ireland. Employees will have the option of working from the office (when it is safe to do so) if they wish or they may work remotely from home.

 

What You’ll Do:

The Data Informatics Specialist is a key member of Foundant’s Professional Services team. This

individual will primarily work to successfully and efficiently complete client migration projects. This will

be accomplished using existing tools, communication with clients, extreme attention to detail and

logical thinking to convert client data from various data sources into a format easily imported to

Foundant Products.


  • You will complete the internal training program to gain an understanding of Foundant products.
  • You will maintain a core understanding of Foundant’s products and provide exceptional client support as needed.
  • You will identify client needs and develop the overall data migration project scope and timeline to completion.
  • You will communicate effectively and professionally with internal migration teams and Foundant clients.
  • You will verify the reliability of data by ensuring accuracy through unique checks and balances.
  • You will work within Excel and relational databases to convert client data for import into the appropriate Foundant product.
  • You will troubleshoot projects by spotting trends or issues with data and taking the necessary steps to resolve them or communicate the problem to the appropriate person.
  • You will commit to continual personal and professional development.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • You’ll need proven advanced Excel or database skills, with knowledge and application in real-world scenarios.
  • You’ll need technical proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
  • You’ll need strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You’ll need excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to track numerous details.
  • You’ll need familiarity or comfort working with external clients and managing timelines and deadlines for deliverables.
  • You’ll need the ability to engage and interact with internal teams to resolve client issues.
  • Relational database experience is preferred, but not required.
  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada, USA.
