In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to develop, maintain, and support integrations, extensions, reports, and application components for Oracle HCM Cloud to meet the unique business needs of Alithya’s client base. You will report to the enterprise services technology manager.

  • Design, build, test, implement and document complex information systems and processes in large-scale multi-tier environments;
  • Deliver end-user value in the form of high-quality software components, integrations and services in adherence with Alithya’s policies regarding compliance, security, performance, longevity, and reusability;
  • Own, implement, and maintain best practice solutions for Oracle Cloud HCM for RICEW objects;
  • Drive software through the software development life cycle (SDLC) starting with requirements analysis and modelling through implementation, debugging, deployment, and ongoing support;
  • Create and maintain accurate and unambiguous technical design documents with appropriate levels of detail in a standardized format;
  • Collaborate with functional, technical, and PMO team members to complete the assigned tasks on schedule and within the estimated effort;
  • Work:
    • with senior team members to ensure compliance with design standards and contribute to policies on development, design and best practices for the code quality, performance, and architecture;
    • collaboratively across on-site and offshore teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Participate in technical work sessions with clients or cross-functional teams for design specifications of new and existing technical components;
  • Track and maintain all development activities in designated software development tracking solutions;
  • Mentor and train new team members to maximize the overall productivity and effectiveness of the team.
  • Work with minimal supervision on day-to-day work or new assignments;
  • Work and communicate effectively within and across teams to achieve assigned goals.

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field (asset);
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience with at least 1 Oracle Cloud ERP implementation;
  • 3 years of experience:
    • in designing and developing large-scale integrations between third-party systems and Oracle Cloud Applications using SOAP and REST-based services;
    • working with SQL and PL/SQL, OTBI, BI Publisher and RTF templates, as well as FBDI, HDL, and Workflow tools.
  • Experience working in a sprint-driven, Agile project environment and with traditional Waterfall methodologies;
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • software development principles, processes, concepts, and techniques;
    • the following Oracle technologies:
      • OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Knowledge of Java, XML, JDeveloper, Visual Builder cloud service, Groovy scripting, and cloud framework native to Oracle Fusion applications;
  • Deep understanding of REST and SOAP APIs of Oracle Cloud ERP and building ETL-based integrations through these APIs;
  • High-level knowledge of Oracle modules related to HCM such as:
    • Cloud HCM;
    • Core HR;
    • Oracle benefits;
