What’s AniLive?

We develop and operate AniLive, a mobile streaming app specifically designed for virtual streamers and their fans in English-speaking countries.

On this platform, streamers can become "AniLivers" with their own avatars, allowing them to start streaming from "anytime, anywhere" and earn income. As viewers, the vertical streaming experience on AniLive enables them to enjoy communication with their favorite AniLivers from a close distance, experiencing a new level of engagement including various gift animations.

With the release of AniLive, our company aims to revolutionize the virtual streaming industry and bring more fun to the global anime/VTuber community!

Position Summary

The Product Manager position at AniLive requires a deep understanding of toC product development and a passion for the entertainment industry. This position will play a key role in building up a new product for VTubers, which targets the global market from the beginning.

What you will do
  • Create the overall storytelling and product roadmap with the product owner, design team, dev team, and external stakeholders if needed.
  • Translate product roadmap into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and user impact
  • Establish alignment with teams and assign tasks accordingly, and manage resources and schedule coordination
  • Collect and understand user insights and reflect them into the product
What you will bring
  • Passion for the Japanese entertainment industry — anime, manga, gaming, VTubing... you must be an otaku! 
  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Manager role, particularly in the entertainment sector's digital, social, and emerging technologies such as VTubing
  • Understanding of engineering, business, and design related to global targeted B2C products in the tech industry
  • Language skill: Business level or above in English
  • Proven track record of driving multiple projects to completing without a senior member's support
  • Experience in adaptable learning and applying new technologies and trends in projects
  • Experience using Figma, Notion, GSuite, Microsoft Office, Slack, and Zoom
