The Role

We are seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Product Engineering team!

We're building the next generation wealth management software platform for clients of all sizes. We need engineers who are driven to bring outstanding features to market. You will join a team that loves solving problems and providing innovative solutions. You will craft a consumer-grade, first class mobile experience for our clients.

Seeking a Senior Engineer to cultivate an inclusive team culture, mentor engineers, and create an environment of high-quality engineering processes. Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

We use Kotlin, ReactJS, Java, Python, and AWS in our engineering team. You'll have the chance to develop web and mobile automation frameworks from the ground up.

What You’ll Do
  • Implement Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), API test, UI Tests (Browser and Mobile), adhering to the Product Test Strategy.
  • Represent Quality Engineering at Scrum meetings, be a single point of accountability and partner concern for testing within the POD.
  • Responsible for representing QE in Go- NoGo decision meeting!
  • Establish effective working relationships across all collaborators.
  • Provide recommendations to Product Owner on the product readiness for launch.
  • Provide recommendations into the overall process improvement of the Quality Engineering team.
  • Bring "Automation First " approach to PODs!
  • Suggest new processes and policies that Engineering and QA can implement to ensure we’re only shipping the best possible product
Who You Are
  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering.
  • Experience in building and improving automation frameworks.
  • Good understanding and hands-on experience in ‘Trading ' domain products is a must.
  • Hands-on experience with Core Java, Maven / Gradle, REST API, REST ASSURED, Selenium(WebDriver), Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Java IDE’s.
  • Exposure to Cucumber, BDD, JIRA, Jenkins (CICD exposure) and Confluence
  • Experience in Agile methodology and in-sprint’ automation

- Experience with cloud based device farms - Browser Stack is an added advantage
