The Opportunity:


As a Solution Architect of a team of individuals, you will be a crucial player in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization. Our agile operating model consists of two components – Digital Capability and Digital Execution.


As a Solution Architect, you will possess in-depth, cross-domain, knowledge and expertise on business applications, capabilities, and processes, enabling them to design, implement, and contribute innovative solutions that optimize DigitalX design architecture landscape.

Key Activities for this role:


  • Leading collaboration with stakeholders, analysing functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring consistency design standards, providing technology recommendations, creating solution prototypes, and managing epic story constraints like cost, quality, scope, and resources, all while assisting the project leads in estimating costs, resources, and timelines, and remaining involved throughout the epics lifecycle.
  • Design comprehensive application solutions that address business needs and challenges. This involves creating architectural designs that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for application development projects, considering factors such as performance, scalability, security, and integration capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the development life cycle, from initial concept through to implementation and support. Guide development teams to ensure adherence to architectural designs and best practices.


Essential Knowledge & Experience:


  • Substantial experience in Pharma R&D Space (Clinical operations preferred) and direct experience implementing/consulting on known Life Sciences technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in specific area of digital capability. (Veeva R&D Vault) and experience with Veeva configuration and implementation
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong background in software development with expertise in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python), databases/data lakes, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Architectural Knowledge: Deep understanding of architectural principles and design patterns, microservices, API design, and development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business processes and associated datasets and create optimal technology solutions. Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges during the project lifecycle.


Educations/Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Certifications in specific technologies, architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), Agile delivery methodologies (e.g., SAFe) can be beneficial.
