Join Aprio's Cost Segregation team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities.  Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Associate/Experienced Associate or Associate to join their dynamic team. 

This position is for a new internal practice with strong growth potential for the cost segregation professional looking to grow professionally as the practice grows.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive fixed asset engagements including cost segregation and fixed asset review studies
  • Learn to research issues related to cost segregation and fixed asset matters and be able to articulate or prepare documentation related to such matters
  • Develop industry expertise to help yourself become help an indelible member of the cost segregation practice
  • Help train, monitor, and develop staff as the department grows
  • This is a remote opportunity, but only candidates that reside near an Aprio office will be considered

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field required.
  • 1+ years of work experience within a cost segregation practice or a related field such as building inspection or appraisals, engineering related work, architecture, or building construction positions  
  • Proficient in Adobe Pro DC, MS products including Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and the ability to learn new software as needed.
  • Knowledge of RS Means and Marshall and Swift
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and timely
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Potential travel 20%-30%
