Data Analyst, (Remote, Egypt-based)

Job Overview:

Curenta, a leading company in the Health Tech industry, is looking for a Junior Data Analyst with strong Excel skills to join our team. In this role, you will assist in managing and analyzing data to help make informed business decisions. Your expertise in Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and macros, will be key in creating reports and visualizations that highlight important business trends. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Pacific Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and macros, to organize, analyze, and interpret data sets.
• Generate detailed reports and visualizations that help teams understand business performance and trends.
• Assist in data cleaning and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
• Support larger analytics projects by preparing data, performing initial analyses, and contributing insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions that address key business questions.
• Continuously enhance your data skills, staying up-to-date with Excel functionalities and basic data analysis techniques.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, complex equations, and the ability to create and modify macros.
• Familiarity with data cleaning, organizing, and maintaining data sets for analysis.
• Ability to perform basic statistical analyses and generate straightforward reports and summaries.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data handling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau for creating engaging and interactive dashboards.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases and supporting data extraction tasks.
• Familiarity with data-driven decision-making processes in a business environment.
• Experience in automating repetitive tasks and streamlining workflows using Excel macros.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to meet project goals.
