🔎 About the Role
Our partner company in Germany is looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer - Frontend to help lead the development of their innovative platform. If you're passionate about Vue.js, sustainability, and working in a fast-paced, agile environment, this could be the perfect fit! The role is fully remote, but you must reside within CET ±3 time zones in Europe.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the frontend using Vue.js 3 and TypeScript
• Conduct pair programming, code reviews, and collaborate on technical challenges
• Work closely with the CTO, Product Lead, and Sustainability Lead to implement customer-driven features

• Code: Embrace clean code principles for solving complex problems
• Quality: Prioritize automated testing with tools like ESLint and Rubocop
• Automation: Continuous integration and deployment using GitHub Actions and hosted on Heroku

💻 Tech Stack

• Frontend: TypeScript, Vue.js 3, Jest, Cypress, Tailwind
• Backend: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Rspec, Postgres, Redis, Docker
• Hosting: Heroku, GitHub, GitHub Actions
• Automation: Leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs)

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in EU and have a valid work permit
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
• At least 5 years of software development experience
• Expertise in frontend development, with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Vue.js
• Agile mindset and a proactive, hands-on approach
• Passion for tackling the climate crisis
• Bonus: Degree in Computer Science or experience in early-stage startups

👣 Hiring Process

1. Initial Call (30 min): Screening to assess your experience and alignment
2. Take-home Assignment (2-4 hours)
3. Technical Interview (1 hour): Review of the assignment
4. Culture Fit Interview (1 hour): Meet a team member for a peer review
5. Final Call: Offer and negotiation

👥 Team Structure

• Work with a small, dynamic Engineering Team of 5
• Report to the CTO
• Close collaboration with Product, Sustainability, and potentially customers
