Job Description:


The video supervisor is responsible for overseeing the work of a small team of video editors and their creation of wedding highlight and extended wedding documentary-style films. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure on-time delivery of all video products from the team

  • Ensure and support team members it meeting and exceeding quality standards of video edits

  • Maintain organized video editing projects for team-based workflows

  • Troubleshoot media issues

  • Other administrative tasks and projects as assigned by manager

KPIs:

PERFORMANCE GOALS / KPIs

  • Ability to facilitate edits from a small team 2 highlight films and 2 feature length films a week

    • Highlight films are emotional films set to music with a story arc

    • Feature length films are documentary in style with artistic montages used to transition sections of the day 

  • Defect free in work, adhering to the best practices in audio sourcing and leveling, color correction and output rendering.

  • Adhere to brand standards and guidelines for final output

    • Including but not limited to image framing, titling, and logo attribution

  • Ability to troubleshoot common issues with video editing programs, video footage from professional and prosumer level cameras.

LEADERSHIP ESSENTIALS 

  • Clearly communicating and facilitating deadlines set to priority projects as they arise and are assigned by management

  • Continued drive to expand your skill set within video editing and story-telling

  • Work within the team environment to improve the work of the collective and mentor the needs the foster a drive for the best video output possible

  • Ability to understand and execute re-edit needs, whether they are requested from management, leadership, or the client themselves. 


Experience and execution Essentials:

  • 5+ years of video editing experience using Adobe Premier

  • 2+ years of team leadership experience

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite products, Adobe Audition and After Effects preferred

  • Understanding of codecs and video best practices

  • Great time management skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects

  • Must be able to speak and communicate in English

  • Meet or exceed assigned KPIs and targets

  • Meet or exceed the quality goals

  • Meet all deadlines and delivery targets

  • Meet monthly and quarterly individual KPIs

  • Must adhere to all COMPANY SOPs
