The Marketing Manager will lead Kognitiv’s marketing efforts, with a focus on marketing strategy, lead generation, campaign management, and enhancing our brand presence in the Workday ecosystem. This role is ideal for a seasoned marketing professional who is ready to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table and challenge the status quo. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to shape the marketing operations, manage a small, nimble team of marketers and agencies, and collaborate closely with senior executives and partners to drive Kognitiv’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Campaign Management: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve key business goals, including maintaining our impressive pace of 50% YoY increase in new sales over the next 24 months.

  • Multi-Channel Focus: Manage a team of 1-2 direct reports and agency relationships to optimize lead generation and brand awareness campaigns via trade shows and digital, social, and email marketing channels, and create video content for ads in collaboration with our ad agency. 

  • Content Creation: Take ownership over copywriting key deliverables and collaborate with agency partners to produce high-quality content. The Marketing Manager will also develop and execute nurture campaigns in HubSpot to create consistent touchpoints with thousands of KOG fans!

  • Brand Awareness and Digital Optimization: Increase awareness and engagement across the Workday field to drive client introductions and partnerships.  The Marketing Manager will revise and optimize the website to improve visitor conversion rates, and implement digital tools and automation to streamline marketing efforts..  

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing, Delivery Executives, and Partner Managers to create compelling campaigns that drive client engagement.

  • KPI Analysis: Regularly analyze key marketing metrics, including ROI, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs, and provide insights to senior leadership.

  • Innovative Thinking: Continuously bring fresh ideas to the table, challenging existing processes and driving innovation in all marketing efforts.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in B2B marketing with experience managing brand strategy, campaigns, and lead generation efforts.

  • Experience managing a small team and working directly with agency partners and collaborating with Executive leadership to execute key company priorities. 

  • Proven ability to manage and execute deliverables on schedule and within budget

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Marketing, and Wordpress. Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and video content creation are a plus.

  • Self-starter and Bold Thinker.  The right candidate will be a multi-tasker, creative thinker, creative problem-solver, and excellent communicator with solid writing skills. 

  • Experience in a fast-paced, start-up environment and with professional services firms or SaaS is encouraged but not required.
