Description:
- Knowledge acquisition: learn assigned product to smallest details, become an expert in the product;
- Work as part of a team in a mainframe environment;
- Cooperate with 1st tier support on resolving issues;
Requirements:
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization;
- Maintain the developed software efficiently through a solid knowledge of the software lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, etc.
Preferences:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the following technologies: PL/1 and Assembler
- Problem-solving and debugging
- The advantage to candidates with hands-on: MVS & z/OS, JCL, IBM IMS, DB2 and С
- Ability to work effectively in a team and with international clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, modify, and implement software changes from functional and system design specifications;
- Review, evaluate, and analyze software design and specifications;
- Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if the application fits specifications and technical requirements;
- Identify and fix bugs, and device solutions to the problems.
Description: GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely and the salary range will be $130,000/yr to $140,000/yr and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower.
