We are currently hiring a Senior Learning & Performance Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver curricula for Rho’s clinical operations team. This includes creating, developing, and facilitating face-to-face, online, and blended training modules, maintaining internal website content, maintaining learning management system (LMS) content, and facilitating internal improvement systems. You will serve as the primary expert in facilitating trainings within clinical operations, including clinical monitoring, project management, study start-up, and clinical management functions.

 

As a member of the Learning & Performance team, you will work with a team of learning experts who engage with cross-functional internal teams and subject matter experts. Further, you will work in close collaboration with our commercial project management office (PMO) to identify and address key skill, performance, and process gaps and then design and implement custom solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify organizational needs in the clinical operations team
  • Develop professional learning curricula addressing specific objectives, achieving measurable outcomes
  • Liaise with functional area experts across projects and the commercial Project Management Office to identify and develop custom solutions for organizational needs
  • Deliver professional learning using a variety of methods, utilizing adult learning best practices
  • Design and deliver internal eLearning or digital learning modules via LMS
  • Author and develop materials, including consulting with Subject Matter Experts
  • Coordinate, produce, and edit audio and video content
  • Maintain and update internal training catalog content, via Sharepoint and/or LMS
  • Create and implement evaluation criteria for internal learning and training programs
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS preferably in a life science, nursing, pharmacy or related field
  • 5+ years of clinical research experience, of which at least 2 of those years in clinical operations or project management and 3+ years of instructional design and eLearning/digital learning development experience
  • Knowledge of of adult learning theory and/or experience in leading adult learning and experience with eLearning or digital learning tools and software (Articulate 260 preferred)
  • Strong Communicator: Demonstrate written, verbal and presentation skills (both in-person and virtual) to help showcase the successes of your work and Rho’s.

    As required by pay transparency laws in some states, Rho provides the range of starting compensation (annual salary or hourly rate) it reasonably expects to pay for a given role. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to role responsibilities and location as well as candidate skill set and level of experience. The range of starting pay for this role is $80,000-110,000 per year.
