Job description

Overview:

SwagChimp is a full-service promotional marketing agency specializing in custom-printed promotional products and branded apparel. We help businesses stand out through high-quality, creative, and trend-forward promotional items that cater to various marketing needs, including corporate branding, event marketing, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients, initiate contact, and generate interest in SwagChimp’s promotional products and services.
  • Client Outreach: Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to prospects, setting up meetings for senior sales representatives.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their promotional needs and challenges.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team in managing the sales pipeline, preparing presentations, and customizing proposals.
  • Market Research: Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Reporting & tracking: Track and report on key performance metrics and use information to provide insights to optimize sales strategies. Ensure that all necessary customer relationship information is properly entered into CRM system.
  • Represent company at Digital Summit events as needed and meet with attendees to share our promotional products and services and develop new business leads.

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record for taking initiative, pursuing activities independently, and dealing with challenging situations with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic understanding of CRM software and sales tools
  • Demonstrated time-management skills and the ability to properly prioritize work assignments in consultation with supervisor.
  • Willing to travel to various locations to support onsite efforts at events (can vary but likely between 10% - 20% travel)
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.) and an aptitude to quickly learn and comfortably use other systems including SalesForce and other proprietary Naylor systems.
