Your missions

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with extensive Jira expertise to join Credence Management Solutions' Systems Engineering Team. This role will support our government client's Program Management Office (PMO) for key applications. The ideal candidate will combine deep Jira knowledge with technical systems engineering skills to develop and implement strategies, configure platforms, and enhance our infrastructure to meet evolving customer needs.

The successful candidate will be proficient in Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Align, and Confluence, along with various Jira apps. They will be responsible for configuring these platforms to enable efficient workstreams, support Agile application development, and implement program-wide project tracking. This role involves designing, developing, and integrating complex systems with a focus on Jira implementation, DevSecOps integration, and effective project management practices.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:
  • Configure and optimize Jira platforms (Software, Service Management, Align) and Confluence to support various teams and initiatives across the program.
  • Implement Jira best practices to support Agile application development and DevSecOps integration
  • Design and create comprehensive dashboards and reports in Jira and Confluence.
  • Develop and maintain Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) for Jira Service Management.
  • Implement project tracking solutions that tie together various teams and initiatives across the program.
  • Set up and manage Jira project structures, user permissions, and security schemes.
  • Integrate Jira with other tools and systems to create a cohesive workflow environment.
  • Utilize cloud computing knowledge (preferably AWS) to optimize Jira and related systems.
  • Perform technical evaluation and integration of new software and hardware technologies.
  • Resolve complex technical issues, with a focus on system optimization and performance tuning.
Education, Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a secret level security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
  • Professional certifications in Jira administration (e.g., Atlassian Certified) preferred
  • Extensive experience configuring and administering Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Align, and Confluence, including workflow optimization, custom field creation, and security management.
  • Proven track record implementing Jira solutions to support Agile development practices and DevSecOps integration in large-scale, distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments (preferably AWS) and experience integrating Jira with other tools and systems to create cohesive workflow environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to support executive-level stakeholders in systems engineering processes, including requirements management, risk assessment, and project tracking across multiple teams and initiatives
