About the role:

We launched our Nonfleet Program in December 2023 to serve small trucking fleets and owner-operators. This segment represents a massive market opportunity, and we are excited to add a Senior Business Operations Manager to help drive the continued growth of this Program and influence a variety of initiatives alongside a world class team that is growing a modern commercial insurance product from the ground up. 

Reporting directly to the Nonfleet Program Lead, you will partner with teams including Product, Marketing, Business Development and Underwriting to drive strategy and create efficient processes for our Nonfleet Program.

You will play a critical role in creating the frameworks that enable Nirvana’s Nonfleet Program to scale successfully. Each week will bring a new set of projects and challenges, where success is measured by data driven outcomes, and where you will have real ownership of business results.

What you’ll do:

• Strategy: Identify, triage, and drive the strategic thinking on key questions, issues, and roadblocks facing the Nonfleet Program using your business acumen.

• Analysis & Insights: Conduct quantitative research and analysis that results in compelling takeaways and recommendations for our leadership team.

• Impact & Execution: Take end-to-end ownership of critical operational processes, turning strategy into reality.

• Planning / Reporting: Help develop and track critical operating metrics for the Nonfleet Program and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholders.

• Since we’re still in scrappy startup mode, there’s a lot of rolling up your sleeves and getting into the weeds to drive direct impact on a daily basis. We knock out today’s problems while balancing our need to build for the long-term.

About you:

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity or a similar industry or experience with business operations in a high-growth company.

• Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

• Comfort working in a high growth, ambiguous environment.

• Critical thinker who isn’t afraid to provocateur and make decisions.

• Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through issues.

• Bias-to-action - you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty & stretch yourself.
