Your new role

As we continue to grow and expand our product offerings to the market, the Senior Product Marketing Manager is responsible for:

  • Effectively positioning and differentiating our existing products in the market
  • Planning and delivering effective GTM marketing strategies for new product launches and critical feature enhancements
  • Partnering with, and supporting, sales and campaign marketing teams to meet revenue targets

This role is a maternity leave cover role for 12 months.

What You’ll Be Doing

Strategize

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, including competitive analysis, positioning, messaging and sales enablement.
  • Work with the Marketing Director and audience experts to refine product positioning and messaging for existing solutions
  • Develop product and market expertise to support the sales and marketing teams on campaigns and outreach
  • Understand the competitive marketplace and how we differentiate ourselves
  • Deliver go-to-market plans for critical product enhancements
  • Analyze market research and adapt and inform strategies as appropriate
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities

Creation and delivery

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, competitive landscape, message testing and opportunities for product differentiation.
  • Create compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences and effectively communicates the value proposition of our products.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, events, content marketing, and PR, to generate leads and drive demand.
  • Drive product and critical feature launches and coordinate all marketing activities to ensure successful execution and maximum impact.
  • Ensure delivery of effective product content that effectively promotes the product value proposition e.g. case studies, use cases, videos, infographics, product-specific blog posts, web copy
  • Create effective sales enablement materials e.g. battlecards, playbooks, collateral
  • Produce engaging, compelling, and solution-led marketing collateral that effectively promotes the product offering and meets the needs of target customers
  • Oversee the rollout of product prompts in Intercom to improve the app experience and product communication
  • Analyze and report on key metrics and performance indicators to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and optimize future strategies
  • Keep up to date with competitor developments, look to apply these insights to positioning/messaging/support collateral, and feed into sales battlecards

Collaboration and communication

  • Engage regularly with internal stakeholders, including product, PSMs, sales and marketing teams, to present market research, communicate launch plans and product messaging and positioning to drive revenue growth
  • Partner with the sales team to develop sales collateral, tools, and training materials that support the selling process and drive customer engagement.
  • Effectively brief agencies to create compelling collateral that communications product value
  • Regularly meet with customer-facing stakeholders to listen and understand the needs of the customer and product feedback in order to optimize marketing plans and collateral
  • Oversee internal and external comms for new product developments and features, including effective briefs to internal teams like press

Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a Product Marketing Executive, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and delivery.

  • Minimum of 3 years' B2B product marketing experience, preferably for SaaS
  • Excellent time management skills and hands-on attitude.
