Data Scientist (m/f/d)

As a Data Scientist you are our expert in the field of data and data analysis. In this position, you will use sophisticated methods of data analysis, data mining and analytical processes to help identify new business potential and find innovative solutions.

Aufgaben:

• Analyze and process comprehensive, complex, structured, and unstructured data sets using algorithms to derive business-relevant insights. (e.g., machine learning, predictive analytics, statistical modelling, data mining)
• Consolidation of data from different sources
• Setting up and developing strategies to analyze our existing data
• Responsibility for the complete process of data preparation up to the interpretation and presentation of the results
• Transformation of technical, analytical and professional knowledge to derive targeted instructions and recommendations for action
• Collaborate with other specialist departments such as IT, marketing, CRM, etc.
  
  

Anforderungsprofil:

• Completed studies or adequate higher education in the field of computer science, natural sciences (e.g., mathematics, statistics) or business
• Several years of experience in data science, statistical modelling (e.g. regressions, clustering, classification models) and machine learning techniques (e.g. random forest, gradient boosting, XGBoost)
• As a successful candidate you will be able to build classification, time series or anomaly detection models using Python, SQL, and Linux
• Knowledge of PySpark, Hive, Airflow is a plus point
• Excellent analytical skills as well as a structured, solution-oriented and independent way of working
• Proven experience in deploying ML models at scale
• Familiarity with neural network architectures (Transformers), deep learning libraries (TensorFlow/PyTorch), NLP, LLM
• A good understanding of Exploratory Data Analysis, feature engineering, hyper parameter tuning of models
• Experience of working with geographical data to produce location analysis is a plus point (working with coordinates and grids)
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex analytical and technical content
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and willingness to learn them is a plus point
• Excellent written and oral skills in English, German an advantage
• High team spirit and willingness to work in Agile teams

We will agree your salary based on your qualifications and experience in line with the market. The gross annual salary according to the collective agreement for telecom companies is at least € 41.948,90 (38,5 hours/week). A significant overpayment depending on qualifications and experience is planned.
