About Us:

Kinesis Money
Kinesis is a leading global fintech that is introducing sound money back into the financial system through innovative technology. As a member of the Kinesis community, our clients can deposit or purchase physically allocated gold or silver via our trading platform (https://kinesis.money) which is vaulted at no additional cost. The allocated precious metal holdings are then digitised using blockchain technology and can be traded, managed, and transferred as digital assets using the Kinesis platform.

Clients can also easily spend their holdings instantly using a physical or virtual debit card anywhere Visa/Mastercard is accepted, or trade the tokens on the Kinesis Blockchain Exchange.

Kinesis has created a unique yield system that rewards holders and participants of the Kinesis system. The Kinesis systems are developed using the very latest in web, cryptocurrency, and cloud technologies and as a truly global business, whilst we have offices around the world, we embrace remote working to attract the best talent wherever it is. While this is a 100% remote position, candidate will reside in NY or PA. May be required to work outside normal hours to assist/meet with end user support in different time zones.

About Role:

We are a rapidly expanding company establishing a new division and seeking a versatile and proactive individual to lead our IT Operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping our IT strategy, with an immediate focus on Azure, Intune, and system hardening. Experience with JAMF, Google GCPW, and system hardening is highly valued. You will also oversee the End User Support Team, managing scheduling, performance metrics, audits, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the IT Operations team with a focus on Azure, Intune, Group Policy, and hardening systems to NIST STIG standards.
  • Oversee end-user support by managing scheduling, team performance metrics, audits, and acting as emergency backup for end-user issues.
  • Collaborate with the team on desktop support, patch management, domain management, backup, desktop engineering, virtual servers, and database administration (as needed).
  • Ensure proper system hardening and work within the NIST cybersecurity framework.
  • Manage a mostly Windows environment, with support for Linux and Mac systems.
  • Utilize tools like SCCM/MECM for automation and packaging, with a preference for candidates experienced in these areas.
  • Manage various SaaS platforms and implement/oversee 2FA for security.
  • Contribute to business operations such as change control, project management, licensing, and contracting.
  • Serve as a backup to the CIO during extended absences.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in IT operations with a focus on Azure, Intune, system hardening, and vulnerability analysis.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience leading a technical support team.
  • Familiarity with NIST STIG standards and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Experience managing SaaS platforms and implementing security measures like 2FA.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in IT support and system management.
  • Experience with automation tools such as SCCM/MECM is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company, demonstrating adaptability and a passion for professional development.
  • Ability to work in a smaller-sized company with significant growth potential.

Additional Information:

  • This role will report directly to the CIO and act as a backup during extended absences, receiving appropriate training.
  • While the current focus is on Azure management and team leadership, this role may eventually evolve to include further business operations responsibilities as the division grows.

We are not seeking someone who has expertise in every area but rather someone who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the company's long-term success. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with tremendous growth potential in the near term.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years managing Azure.
  • Hardening Windows systems with Intune/Group Policy.
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience desired.
  • Experience leading/supervising end user support a plus.
  • Please note that this position is exclusively for Malaysian applicants

What We Offer:

  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Competitive salary
  • Ongoing professional development
  • A welcoming and supportive culture
  • Access to MindValley for personal growth
  • Diverse, global team
