Job Description

Here at Legal and General Affordable Homes we are excited to be recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to run the delivery of strategic initiatives that will shape the future of housing for our business, our partners and our customers. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in managing the successful delivery of medium/large projects (change initiatives) You will be responsible for all aspects of project management from defining the requirements of the project, managing the budget for delivery, create and agree the project plan as well as and creating and maintaining a governance framework for delivery. At all times you will work closely with colleagues in other LGAH departments and external stakeholder so that benefit realisation is maximised.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Defining and managing project plans and schedules ensuring accurate estimate of cost, time and resource requirements.
    • Supporting the Project Sponsor with the identification of the strategic objectives of the project.
    • Planning and controlling the finances and budgets for change initiatives.
    • Leading discovery and design workshops to drive successful execution of projects.
    • Identifying and managing the resources needed for change initiative(s) from internal and/or external providers.
    • Develop and apply quality management and governance structures that define clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities for delivery of change initiative activities
    • Reporting on progress to relevant project board/governance forums that align with organisational best practice.
    • Act as a role model fostering excellent team spirit in the project delivery team, providing vision and purpose for the delivery and aligning/defining roles and responsibilities if needed

    Qualifications

    Who we're looking for:

    • Previous experience of delivering medium/large, strategic projects.
    • The ability to manage concurrent projects successfully from inception to closure.
    • Understanding of Project & Change Management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM, PROSCI ADKAR.
    • Experience working with technology platforms (Salesforce specifically would be ideal), within a business change context.
    • Experience of working in the Affordable Housing / Housing Management sector is highly desirable.
    • An engaging style and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across the business.
    • Strong logical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions.
    • Exceptional communication, relationship building and management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
