Lead DevOps AWS Engineer ID19010

What you will do

• Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure across multiple environments and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP);
• Manage deployment processes for multiple feature and platform services, including on-premises;
• Maintain and improve application availability and performance for a global portfolio of customers;
• Identify manual processes and design and implement automation solutions;
• Guide teams in the design and implementation of microservice architectures;
• Support incident response teams with in-depth infrastructure and service knowledge;
• Manage APIs that support both design-time and run-time application functionality;
• Collaborate with device client engineering teams to ensure that services meet performance, availability, and functional goals;
• Maintain a constant focus on security by design, including the mitigation of identified vulnerabilities.
  
  

Must haves

• A degree in computer science or equivalent education and/or proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role;
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD);
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker container management;
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform;
• Experience with one or more of the main cloud providers (GCP, Azure, or AWS);
• Experience with GitOps and source control management tools like Git;
• Solid understanding of network, security, and cloud infrastructure;
• Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash);
• Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol and how HTTP-based microservices work;
• Excellent English communication skills;
• Ability to contribute effectively as a team member while also excelling in independently completing tasks and responsibilities.
