Oracle Applications team is responsible for successfully implementing Oracle Solutions to our clients. You will lead complex functional/process analysis and facilitates workshops with senior customer resources and subject matter experts. You will capture and understand client’s business requirements and facilitate process design aligned to the modern best practices and critical to quality customer’s processes.
You will also be required to lead the complex functional analysis and review of solutions, functional designs, technical designs, configuration within the project. You are overall contributor to deliver a fully functioning solution to the client.
You liaise with business analysts for the requirements, management for the estimations and high-level planning, functional architects, technical architects, designers, developers, product team, and test teams for the solution implementation, during the entire phase of a project implementation.
You may also be required to be involved in pre-sales activities in mapping the client requirements to the base product functionality to present a product fit including custom solutions needed (if any) with its draft estimates/ resource loading. This may require participating in discovery sessions at client sites and capturing accurate understanding of customer’s business needs and support presales in responding accordingly.
Lead teams of designers and developers throughout the implementation life cycles to produce analysis and designs for new and ongoing projects demonstrating in-depth knowledge of functional domains such as, General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Budgeting, Intercompany Accounting, Encumbrance Accounting, Subledger Accounting SLA, Tax Management, Cost Management, and others.
The candidate should have indepth knowledge of the overall architecture of Oracle ERP and/or Oracle Cloud ERP.
Should have a good understanding how ERP works in tandem with EPM, PPM, SCM, RMCS, Risk Cloud and other modules.
Should have clear understanding of how the standard Oracle /Oracle Fusion product can be integrated with other third-party applications meeting all business requirements, minimizing information loss and optimizing technical complexity.
Should have good experience in extensions design, development, testing and deployment from a functional perspective.
Should have expertise in application of Oracle’s Implementation methodology. Should have solid hands-on experience in cutover and data migration. Should have clarity of data migration ensuring reconciliation between source data and migrated data and sub-ledger vs general ledger.
Expertise in supporting Testing, Defects Analysis and fixing in sync with product development and support
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the Oracle solution and keep abreast with the product roadmap.
Good understanding of Oracle technology

Responsibilities
What you will do
You will analyse business needs and provide recommendations on how to program the product hierarchy to address the customer’s specifications. Write custom reports, exports and make modifications to the solution to meet customer's needs.
- Recommend Oracle ERP implementation and operational best practices, while guiding clients through the adoption of your recommendations.
- Analyze and document customer business processes and requirements.
- Running workshop sessions analyzing client requirements and recommending future state process and solution design.
- Participate in lead test planning, document test plans, and perform solution testing, document test results, and assist with defect resolution.
- Identify and present Consulting Services opportunities.
- Identify the appropriate software architecture based on the requirements and design elements contained in a system specification
- Analyses software requirements, defines solution parameters and specifications.
- Conduct formal workshops with the client to gather requirements, displaying knowledge of the business environment in defining the customer’s needs
- Produce the estimations of the solution and involved in the high-level planning and implementation methodology of the project.
- Able to engage in Pre-Sales activities and writing of technical proposals
- Leads the function design process. Facilitates design workshops.
- Negotiates and manages functional scope to reduce business and technical risks for both the client and Oracle Consulting
- Requires Software Development Lifecycle experience.
- Ramp up on Cloud methodology and approach
- Able to apply professional mastery and industry-wide understanding of technology, tools and methodologies to develop solutions in leading edge or critical situations.
- Viewed by customers as a trusted advisor
- Able to manage the customer and manage situations during the implementation process with the customer
- Assist software developers with the creation of detailed software design specifications.
- Perform software version control and maintain periodic compilation schedule.
- Should be able to review the technical solution designs, configuration aligned with the functional solution.
- Should be able to conduct trainings for clients and within oracle.
- Coordinate with the product team to provide inputs for the future enhancement of the product.
