Description

HRG is an employee-owned, nationally recognized consulting engineering, planning, and infrastructure solutions firm.


We are actively seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our dedicated team of professionals in Cranberry Township, PA with work from home flexibility. Key responsibilities include:

  • H&H Modeling using (PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS)
  • Designing streambank/buffer restoration projects
  • Bridge/Culvert modeling and floodplain delineation
  • Providing robust MS4 consulting services to municipal clients
  • Developing and implementing MS4 Pollution Reduction Plans
  • Designing stormwater management and erosion and sediment control BMPs
  • Flood mitigation and storm sewer designs
  • Assistance with developing and implementing municipal stormwater authorities and fees
  • Designing Green Infrastructure (GI)
  • Preparing project designs and reports (SWM, NPDES, E&S, etc.)
  • Preparing PADEP Joint and General Permit Applications
  • Working with PADEP, ACOE and County Conservation Districts
  • Successful delivery of water resources related projects with oversight of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and design team
Requirements

 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
  • Engineer-In-Training (required), Professional Engineer (preferred)
  • 3+ years’ experience in water resources engineering to include:

            o Stormwater design

            o Hydrologic/Hydraulic modeling

            o Streambank restoration design

            o Regulatory permitting

            o Project presentations

            o Specification writing

            o Meeting facilitation

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, computerized project management systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint, PCSWMM, HydroCAD, Hydraflow, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and Civil3D (preferred)
  • Client-focused leader and team player possessing strong communication, planning and organizational skills
  • Requires travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices (Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license)
  • Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
