What you will do: 
This position is responsible for ensuring the creation, review and operational improvements of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.  The Manager, Finance and Revenue Operations responsibilities include leading the Zoocasa and exprealty.com financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections & forecasting and performing research and analysis as may be required by the leadership team. This role will also assist in preparing for the eXp Realty consolidated monthly, quarterly close as well as forecasting preparation in collaboration with the eXp Realty Finance team. The Manager, Finance and Revenue Operations will also manage the day-to-day of our trust and operations accounts, including credit card reconciliations, manage a small team of revenue operations and deals administrators as well as a business analyst. 
  • Tracking KPIs, and preparing financial reports, forecasting models.
  • Create, improve, and develop templates to support a variety of financial activities including planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • Leading Zoocasa financial systems and participating in the consolidated budgeting and monthly close processes
  • Assist with annual preparation financial and tax statement, where necessary
  • Assist with preparation of Monthly, quarterly and annual Reporting packs and financial statement schedules
  • With the assistance and support of the wider finance teams at eXp Realty and eXp World Holdings Inc, ensure the review/improvement of monthly, quarterly, & annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS in a timely fashion, along with their reporting packages
  • Understand, research and report on data related to key business drivers like industry trends, reports and findings on home sales in CA & US
  • Develop or recommend actions to raise standards and improve operational effectiveness and consistency through process, technology and/or people capability development
  • Assisting project teams with financial guidance
  • Developing financial projections and building financial models / forecasts
  • Lead quarterly Commissions modeling and projections for both Canada & US
  • Create and maintain financial models and reports highlighting key business leading indicators
  • Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal and regulations
  • Working with sometimes large and complex data sets, data models and supporting systems
  • Assist with documentation and implementation of new processes as required
  • Documenting processes and controls in relation to both the new accounting standard and new systems
  • Develop and implement systems, processes and procedures to streamline accounting and ensure appropriate controls and segregation of duties utilizing all the tools available 
  • Assist in preparing engaging and informative financial presentations
  • Support introduction of new software systems and processes as Zoocasa revenue operations integrates with the eXp Realty brokerage and transactions teams, leverage AI and automation to scale operations as deal volumes increase
  • You should also have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be able to present financial information and models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner.
  • Manage a small team of FT revenue operations administrators
  • Provide mentorship and support to your team and assist them in achieve their individual and collective goals for the marketing department
  • Draft and monitor OKRs for your department and engage in formal and informal feedback sessions with employees to ensure they are on track and developing in their role against expectations.
  • Recruiting and onboarding FT team members as needed throughout the fiscal year

How you will grab our attention: 
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 5 years experience
  • CPA designation or MBA in Finance preferred
  • Accounting designation (CPA or equivalent), combined with deep understanding of IFRS and financial services, accounting
  • 2 to 4 years FP&A experience and financial modeling experience desirable
  • Advanced excel skills (Pivot table, V-Lookup, Indirect, conditional formatting, Charts/Bars/ Waterfall, etc.), candidate must have the ability to manipulate large data sets
  • Extensive experience with a variety of modern finance and business software tools (Oracle BI, Salesforce, DOMO, Dayforce, Brokerwolf etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP, Oracle, or related financial systems.
  • Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office; Advance proficiency in MS Excel

The starting base pay for this position is $85,000 CAD per year in our lowest geographic cost of living market and is dependent upon many factors such as location, experience, skills, and training. Base pay is only one part of the total compensation package offered to employees in recognition of their hard work and is determined within a range to allow for growth and development within a role.
