DEMS Technical Owner

• Strong hands-on technical skills in video management
• Ability to work with DEMS vendor technical staff
• Ability to configure and admin DEMS/Video solutions
• Some Solution Architect skills , looking at the bigger picture and solution architecture. Also looking at integration points to internal systems & external sources.
• Support the creation of the DEMS RFT
• Good organiser and able to work with our internal ICT teams
• Has to have a positive, can-do attitude. Will need to be able to work across all areas of the BWC project.
• Ability to mentor local support team.
• May have some degree of people management for local support

Some background info:

They will have good technical skills and are ready to get stuck in and get whatever needs to be done over the line. This will be a very busy project so we are not looking for people who are looking for a handy number and want to sit back, this will be full on.

These roles are more focused on hands-on skills so might not necessarily be at the senior level, senior managers are not really what we are after we are looking for people who can do the work rather than talk about it.

BWC Body worn camera service is in the early stages of POC and requires people who can ensure we get the BWC Service delivered.
