Your Role:

As the Business and Corporate Development Director, you will report to the SVP to support the founders on crafting strategies, aligning overarching strategy and executing of company-wide initiatives (i.e. international expansion).

You will be responsible for supporting and driving strategic initiatives to propel the growth and expansion of our company. You will play a crucial role in identifying new business development opportunities, forging strategic relationships, and overseeing mergers and acquisitions.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning for business & corporate development function:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and long-term vision.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to define strategic priorities and action plans for the GTM.
  • This may include conducting GTM market research and analyses, identifying threats and opportunities, aligning team goals, processes, and resource allocation, and devising and presenting sound strategies
  • Accountable to key stakeholders for initiative identification, set up, monitoring and reporting of success metrics (in conjunction with various teams)

2. Partnership Development:

  • Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners, clients, investors, regulators, banks, and industry influencers.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership and/or joint venture agreements that drive mutual value and support the company's growth objectives.
  • Explore collaboration opportunities with other organizations to expand market reach and enhance product/service offerings.

3. Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):

  • Support the identification, evaluation, and execution of potential M&A opportunities in alignment with the company's growth strategy.
  • Conduct due diligence processes, including financial analysis, valuation, and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless integration post-acquisition.

4. New Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to diversify revenue streams and penetrate new markets. Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new products, services, or market segments.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, investors and partners to drive business expansion. Hunter attitude to build the business & corporate development function within the company, as if it were your own business, with all stakeholders as your customers
  • Support our itnenrational expansion with the build out of regional presence in key markets such as Saudi

5. Team Collaboration:

  • Provide support to business development, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and finance, to drive coordinated efforts towards business growth.
  • Inspire and motivate team members to achieve individual and collective goals, while fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.

6. Reporting:

  • Support building detailed plans that roll up to the overall corporate strategy, and support board reporting
  • Synthesizing/distilling key financial and business insights for leadership - analyzing results, business KPIs, assessing risk, and communicating timely risks & opportunities
